Alexander H. Solla

American, b. 1972

Solla went to Amhurst in 1989. He studied at Alfred Univerity for 1 year with Val Cushing. Dave Shaner sent a letter to USU to get Solla into the MFA program. Solla was a studio tech at Utah State from 1995-1999. He taught handbuilding durin this time. Steven Rosen arranged to have Solla's MFA show of many large platters in NEHMA, rather than the Twain Tippets Gallery at Utah State University.
